01 May Hyatt Place Arlington/Courthouse Plaza to Open in Mid-August
The new Hyatt Place Arlington/Courthouse Plaza is slated to open in mid-August. Located at 2401 Wilson Blvd. and developed by Schupp Companies, the hotel will have 168 rooms, including 112 king guest rooms, 54 double queen guest rooms and two suites. One of Hyatt’s two “Modern Essentials” brands and the first of its kind in Arlington, Hyatt Place seeks to “combine style, innovation and 24/7 convenience to create a perfectly seamless stay with every modern comfort.” The Hyatt Place will also have connectivity to the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Conference and Event Center, located next door. Newly renovated, the AUSA venue has advanced technologies including state-of-the-art video display walls; in-ceiling speakers, microphones and high-definition cameras; full duplex video teleconferencing; and live and on-demand event streaming. The conference center can host from 5 to 200 people for a wide array of events.
