This multi-parcel development project will be Schupp Companies’ second hotel project in Northern Virginia. The east side of Backlick Road will be the future location of a 165 room Hampton Inn & Suites. Across the street, on the west side of Backlick Road, the façade of the retail center containing tenants such as CarQuest and Moe’s Peyton Place will be updated to make a more cohesive, pedestrian friendly site. The property’s key strengths are its accessibility to I-95 and proximity to strong hotel demand generators such Fort Belvoir’s Main Post, Davison Army Airfield and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency headquarters and significant additional nearby Federal Government facilities for agencies such as the CIA.
